To ensure that parents opted in to receive your school closure notification receive it based on their parent portal preferences, it is recommended to use a School Closure or similar alert category and manage associated category preference overrides via your Settings. Note: Items noted in parentheses are to be used as reminders and are not available merge fields within SwiftK12.

Subject: School Closed Tomorrow: This is a message from [school/]: We will be closed tomorrow, [tomorrow/], due to (reason). To repeat, [school/] will be closed [tomorrow/] due to (reason).
